Excellent crew and food. Good facilities. A very friendly experience.

This was my 7th holiday with Caledonian Discovery - that at least will tell you how I feel about their cruises! On every occasion I've had a fantastic time, and this year (to celebrate my 70th birthday) was the best yet. The crew, the accommodation, the food - and even the weather - were all marvellous. I highly recommend any cruise with Caledonian Discovery

We had a great time, lots of fun and laughter. All the crew were great and very friendly, Mike a very good chef, he tried to please tastes and cater to diet requirements. Really great trip! An absolutely wonderful experience. Fabulous food, expertly prepared and presented. Daily briefings about adventures available (biking, hiking, sailing, canoeing or just relaxing and watching the stunning scenery go by from the boat) by an extremely knowledgeable and friendly crew. Would love to do this trip again!

The crew were marvellous - generous with their knowledge and enthusiasm. They clearly enjoy sharing their love of Scotland with their guests. We immediately felt welcome and part of the “family”. We and our fellow passengers were included in the shipboard camaraderie and this continued throughout the entire journey. Our guides were knowledgeable, kind and patient as they led us through the various hikes, bicycle rides and water sports. As first time canoeists and dinghy sailors we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. The chef quickly earned our trust and we tried everything on offer, including dishes that we’ve never had before. We enjoyed every meal. Daily briefings and updates on each day’s plans and options kept everyone on the same page and also served as a welcome review of the day just past. With so much to do and explore we enjoyed sharing the daily review. Highly recommended, we can’t wait to return.
